The BUDAMAR GROUP, through its private carriers, as well as in cooperation with its contractual partners, has started to operate block trains from Ostrava Kunčice station to the Port of Koper. Steel blooms from Ostrava Steel Mill are transloaded on vessels in Port of Koper and continue their journey further by the sea to their final customer.
Train departs on daily basis. The train route leads through the border crossing station Kúty, Bratislava Main station, Petržalka, enters Hungary in Rajka, Hodoš and Ljubljana to the port of Koper. Due to the railtrack closures in Slovenia the locomotive circulation might be temporarily adjusted.
Vectrons of BUDAMAR GROUP are set in the transport from the CZ / SK border to Koper. For the time being, we have already 4 locomotives approved for operation in Slovenia.
